F*lcon F*cker, also styled FLCON FCKER, is a Houston electronic music project distinguished by masked performance, handmade sound technology, and a deliberately anonymous stage identity. A 2013 Houston Press profile documented the musician’s interest in building synthesizers and combining instrumental melody with electronic rhythm. At Day for Night in 2015, the project joined forceful dance beats with a visual collaborator and projections incorporating Houston landmarks. The combination of costume, electronics, and moving imagery situated FLCON FCKER at the intersection of the city’s underground dance music and multimedia performance communities.
