Josiah Gabriel is the performing name of Houston electronic musician Noah Clough. Working with hardware, samples, and programmed rhythms, Clough developed live sets that moved among beat music, house, and hip-hop, with arrangements shaped during performance. Collaborations included Kult Dizney with Chase DeMaster and work with vocalist Perseph One, linking the project to several branches of Houston’s experimental pop and rap communities. A 2015 Day for Night profile documented this collaborative approach, placing Josiah Gabriel within the city’s growing exchange between electronic production, visual presentation, and festival performance.
