Founded Free Press Houston in 2003 and published it through 2018, editing and writing across the run. He founded and produced Free Press Summer Fest and Day for Night, and the Westheimer Block Party the paper carried before them — the issues, posters, site plans and production files held in this archive come out of that work. He currently resides in the Heights and works in sustainable outdoor living construction; in his off time he writes on the Texas sharia panic, the live music economy and technology.
