Delicious Milk was a Houston comedy supergroup bringing together Robert Ellis, Omar Afra, Derek Dunivan, Timothy J. Dorsey, Chopper, Will Van Horn, musicians from the Free Radicals horn section, and other collaborators. Its expansive membership connected several parts of the city’s independent music community through a shared comic project. A 2008 concert notice identified the act with Montrose and described a retro rock sound. Delicious Milk documents the informal, collaborative side of Houston musical life, where performers from different ensembles could gather around humor as readily as a single genre.
A musical affiliation, kept separate from Free Press Houston bylines and coverage.
