Free Press Houston was an independent newspaper published in Houston, Texas from 2003 to 2018. Founded by Omar Afra, who published and edited it across its fifteen-year run, the paper covered the city’s music, art, food and politics and staged the Westheimer Block Party, Free Press Summer Fest and Day for Night. It ceased publishing in 2018.
