Wrestlers is a Houston electronic duo that developed from producer Aidan Kennedy’s earlier project, Bagheera. Under that name, Kennedy released 100% Panther in 2012 through France’s Plik & Plok Records, combining house rhythms with chillwave textures. The addition of David Elkin established Wrestlers as a collaborative act focused on funk-inflected electronic dance music. Its 2015 SXSW schedule included Chance the Rapper’s Free the People showcase at Austin Music Hall, documenting the project’s movement from independent production into a broader festival network while maintaining its Houston roots.
