Mikey & the Drags are a Houston garage and psych rock band. Free Press Houston wrote in 2016 that their previous year’s album was so steeped in psych and garage that “it sounded like it was recorded in Roky Erickson’s living room.” The archive holds their Free Press Summer Fest appearance in 2013. Coverage records in-store and club sets at Cactus and Satellite Bar, and its frontman spinning sixties dance records at local events.
