Zach Lieberman
re:flect was Zach Lieberman's work for the first Day for Night, shown on the exterior of the Vespa building at Silver Street Studios on December 19–20, 2015. Free Press Houston's preview of the visual programme, published on December 16, 2015, named it as Lieberman's architectural-scale projection, and the Houston Chronicle's review of the weekend confirmed that Lieberman brought a new work to the festival. The surviving placement record fixes the form: two projectors blended into one continuous image across the building face; a light table under an overhead camera set in front of it, so that whatever a visitor's hands did on the table was read and thrown, transformed, onto the architecture; and ambient sound carried in the yard.
The title is preserved only in the contemporaneous Free Press Houston article, and the archive presents it on that basis. The installation's form is corroborated by the placement record rather than by published artist documentation, and no photograph of the Houston presentation is held.
