Light Collider was built for Day for Night 2015 by the New York artist Gabriel Pulecio. The engineering record published by Fabio Piparo, who worked on the piece, describes an interactive kinetic LED sculpture in the form of an eight-foot rotating infinite spiral, its light programmed to respond to the people around it. The surviving placement record describes a long sculptural light-and-sound work in plexiglass with Kinect interaction, set so that a white wall beside it caught projected caustics and shadows thrown by the turning form.

The work is documented here through that project record and the placement record; the archive holds no photograph of the Houston installation.
