Catch Fever is a Houston alternative rock act whose recordings balance melodic songwriting with the momentum of a compact live ensemble. Initially a trio, the band released Shiny Eyes in 2014 before continuing as the duo of Taylor Huffman and Josh Wilson. Its subsequent EP You Have All You Need supplied the songs Eyes on the Stars and Lost Love for a 2016 performance in Houston Public Media’s Geary Studio. Preserved through the station’s Skyline Sessions, that appearance documents the band’s transition in personnel and its development within the city’s mid-2010s rock scene.
