King Finn is a Houston alternative rock band whose early lineup brought together Toph Gallego, Alan Huynh, Michael Lucio, Jakub Ausobsky, and Jeremy Ortiz. Its debut, As Part of Me, appeared in January 2015, establishing a sound built from expansive guitar textures and emphatic vocals. After Huynh’s death in 2016, the remaining musicians continued as a quartet. The band also organized What’s It Fest, initially supporting Huynh’s family and later benefiting Girls Rock Camp. King Finn’s history connects independent recording and performance with mutual support within Houston’s music community.
