A staff box is the paper's own statement of who worked on an issue. This census transcribes each one the archive has read, role by role, with names exactly as printed. Where the printed name is the full name of a person the archive holds a record for — or a documented spelling variant of one — the row links to that record. A first name alone is never resolved. No role is inferred for any issue without a transcribed staff box.
Coverage is what has been transcribed, not the whole run: 9 issues so far. Each entry states the page the staff box was read from and, where the object itself is not held, what was inspected instead.
Transcribed from the staff box of the held August 2010 issue export, 36 pages, made 3 August 2010. Two entries are set as printed with no surname (“Alex”, “Wolf”) and are not resolved to people here; the Local associate editor's byline elsewhere in the issue is set as Alex Wukman, but the staff box itself says only Alex. Transcribed from the staff box of the held November 2012 pre-press proof. Several entries are set as printed, with no surname given (“Alex”, “Wolf”, “Intern Mujahedeen”); they are not resolved to people here. Cover art for the issue is credited to Grayson Coffee.
Transcribed from the staff box of the 40-page web export of the August 2013 issue, circulated 5 August 2013 under the subject “new web issue”. That object is not held in the archive. The cover reads “Get you so good 155”. Names are set exactly as printed; “Alex”, “M. Martin” and “Wolf” are left unresolved.
Transcribed from the staff box of the held December 2014 export made 4 December 2014. The box reads 12.14 while several running footers still read FPH 11.14, inherited from the November template. Printed labels are kept as the page sets them.
Transcribed from the staff box of the held January 2015 pre-press proof exported 6 January 2015. The box reads 01.15 while much of the surrounding page furniture still reads FPH 12.14. Cover art for the issue is credited to Michael C. Rodriguez.
Transcribed from the staff box of the 40-page March 2015 export circulated 9 March 2015, the preferred surviving publication-ready version of the issue. That file is not held in the archive. Page one reads “Hot and fresh out the printer! | #173”; the staff box reads 03.15. Cover art for the issue is credited to Austin Smith.
