Houston-born artist and designer, an early visual contributor to Free Press Houston and a recurring artist for Free Press Summer Fest. His work for the archive is newspaper covers, festival posters and related visual material: the archive holds signed cover artwork from the paper's first years and from its festival issues, and the staff box printed on p.3 of the August 2010 issue, #118, credits that cover's illustration to him. Free Press Houston's own surviving pages place him among the artists of the Free Press Summer Fest poster series and its poster show at the Station Museum of Contemporary Art, and state that he had helped the paper from its infancy with artwork, advice and vision. The paper also published an interview with him about Houston rock-poster art. His official biography records a career begun in Houston's 1990s poster and street-art scene and concert posters, screenprints and fine-art work made since 1995 for major recording artists. Announced by the paper on 23 May 2010: limited-edition screen prints were sold at the festival and signed by the artist on site. The poster carries the June 5—6, 2010 Eleanor Tinsley Park dateline and is signed in the lower left.

Hand-lettered at the foot: Pathetic Art by Jermaine — Apologies to R. Pettibon, a true rider of the whiteland.

Thirteen images supplied as his Free Press Houston and Free Press Summer Fest artwork. Nine were reconciled against objects the archive already holds — the October, November and December 2003 covers, January and April 2004, March 2005, August 2010, the June 2012 festival issue and the May 2014 festival issue — and those held files now carry his credit rather than a second copy. Four remain outstanding: one Free Press Summer Fest poster signed Jermaine 10, for which the archive holds no raster, and three early cover artworks whose issues are not established from the images alone. Direct binary transfer from the supplying session was blocked, so no file was created for them and no date is assigned.
