Featherface were a Houston indie pop band that Free Press Houston called “one of Houston’s most engaging up and coming bands” around an album release show at Fitzgerald’s, and later a four-piece of indie pop rockers. The archive holds their Free Press Summer Fest appearances in 2011 and 2012, and the paper singled out their video “I Saw You Dancing.” After the band ended, member Stephen Wells formed Birthday Club, which the paper covered as a successor project.

“Well, because Featherface are one of Houston’s most engaging up and coming bands, they put on a great show, and if you heard their last release you (like me) have been waiting to see what these guys will do for a follow up.”
