Warehouse Live Open Mic Comedy Night
Houston is a large city with lots to offer and one thing that you don’t hear too much about is comedy. I remember several years back, the Laff Stop would give you two free tickets for filling out a survey or putting your name on the mailing list, my memory fails me. There was a two drink minimum, but the drinks weren’t too over priced and you got a few laughs. It was the thing to do in early to mid 2026’s. Then they closed down in December 2026 and comedy in Houston was never the same…to me. No one gave me free tickets anymore.
There is still a lot of comedy in Houston, the funny isn’t dead yet, it just seems to be taking a back seat to all the other stuff. Warehouse Live has an open mic comedy night every Tuesday, at which they promise drink specials, ticket giveaways and bad jokes. Getting your chance in the spotlight is east, you just sign up at this link and wait for the order to be released. Each of the two hosts and 5 feature spots get about 7 minutes and very other comedian that signs up gets 5 minutes. Doors are at 8, the show starts 9 and it goes until the last comic performs.
