History from other sources

• The same piece reports that high rent and too few volunteers led to the location's closure at the end of November 2011, with the lending library moved to Dragon Valley Free School. Free Press Houston, “2011 Worst of Houston”, 2012-01-05
• University of Houston Libraries holds the Solidarity Houston and Sedition Books Zine Collection (2019-031). The collection's dates are not the store's operating dates. University of Houston Libraries, “Solidarity Houston and Sedition Books Zine Collection”
