Scorpion’s history is also a story of artistic apprenticeship. The studio’s biography of Dan Martin follows him from graphic design and painting into an apprenticeship with Matthew Wojciechowski. After working at Extreme Skin Art and Fine Line Tattoo, Martin returned to Scorpion and acquired the shop. Its Westheimer studio emphasizes custom work and invites customers into the creative process.
