Status: Status not verified. Only historical operation is verified here. The 2014 supplier announcement is readable, but the legacy Evans domain now serves unrelated Monaco concierge content. That domain change does not prove closure. Checked 2026-10-07.

A Kremona manufacturer announcement credits Wesley Evans with opening Evans Music City in 1947. By 2014, Brian and Hazel Evans were continuing the family business at 6240 Westheimer, with Kremona among the brands it represented. That supplier history gives outside support to the store’s printed 60th-anniversary advertisement and its place in Houston’s instrument trade. Kremona USA, “Kremona Days at Evans Music City”, 2014
Website observation (access date, not a publication date): the legacy Evans domain now serves unrelated content. A domain change does not establish closure. Former Evans Music City domain, “VIP Concierge in Monaco”, undated; accessed 2026-10-07
