This collection follows the work inside that convergence — booking, production, design, bar operations, local and touring bills, festival afterparties, neighborhood pressure and the maintenance of an old building — while placing it inside the venue’s much longer Houston history. The principal operating era ends with Pegstar’s final booked show in August 2015; 2016 is presented here as an epilogue tracing the transition into White Oak Music Hall.",
